The presented study aimed to describe the use of SCENAR therapy as part of a comprehensive, staged rehabilitation program for a patient with TMJ dysfunction, forced mandibular position, and partial tooth loss.
The application of SCENAR therapy in the rehabilitation of patients with TMJ dysfunction, partial tooth loss, and abnormal lower jaw positioning led to relaxation and balancing of the masticatory muscle tone. As a result, the mandible assumed a more physiological and optimal position, TMJ function normalized, and articulation improved.
This integrative approach to patient rehabilitation allows clinicians to achieve long-term functional and aesthetic outcomes.
