Here is a story how, the head physician of SCENAR Center (further on “Doctor”), saved the life of a famous photographer on KLM board.
The incident happened during the flight to Amsterdam. One of the passengers in the cabin fainted when the plane had already gained altitude.
Doctor says she saw the stewardesses bustling about a lifeless young man, putting wet towels on his forehead. She took her blood pressure measuring device and realized that blood pressure was not determined (the measurement was done in the projection of the wrist joint). The pulse was threadlike, the breath weak, shallow, the skin covered with cold sweat, a sharp paleness. These are all signs of a shock state.
Doctor asked for “ammonia”. Unfortunately, there was nothing essential for first aid on board KLM.
Without thinking another second, Doctor took out her SCENAR and confidently began resuscitation. Using the “Bee” setting, she alternately treated the vital points of his body. After a few seconds, the man had the first response to the SCENAR treatment: he opened his eyes, but he could not see anything. As before, the reaction was inhibited, he answered questions quietly and monosyllabically. He complained of dizziness and nausea. Disorientation in space was clearly observed.
A repeated measurement showed the increase in arterial pressure – 67/30. After a while, vision was restored, skin color changed to normal, he actively answered questions. According to his words, he experienced such a critical condition for the first time.
The treatment procedure with the SCENAR device continued for an hour. The blood pressure was restored – 127/72. By the time the plane arrived in Amsterdam, the man had no health complaints, he only worried about his photo equipment.
After landing, the passenger was handed over to the ambulance brigade, called to the side of the plane. The pilot and the whole crew of the KLM airliner thanked Doctor and presented her with a gift from Royal Dutch Airlines. Passengers who witnessed the episode asked Doctor to tell more about the device that SAVES life. Many passengers asked for Doctor’s business cards.
