Treatment Approach: Guidelines for Treatment of Trigeminal neuralgia and TMJ Pain

In the article presented below, the efficacy of SCENAR in management of trigeminal neuralgia and TMJ pain is assessed. After SCENAR therapy most of the patients reported a relaxed state of well-being and subsequent reduction in pain. The results of the present study showed the possible long-term therapeutic effects of SCENAR in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia and TMJ pain and that SCENARcan be incorporated as a treatment modality in the management of orofacial pain as it has fewer side effects and more patient compliance.
